COVID-19 CHAIRMAN STATEMENT

Hello Carnival Friends,

 In a usual year the Carnival Committee would be hard at work now planning / getting permissions / licences for Carnival week in August..

....But as we know this year is far from usual!! At the moment all plans have been put on hold and like everyone else we are staying at home and keeping safe.

As with everyone else we are waiting on the Government and World Health Organisation to fully understand how and when restrictions will start to lift and hope that we can bring some kind of carnival week.

As you may be aware Clacton Carnival is a way many local charities & organisations raise essential funds for their groups, and as a Carnival we want to try and help them as much as we can as and when we can.

Stay Safe, look after each other and fingers crossed see you all in the Summer.
