Clacton Carnival Street Procession

Saturday 8th August

The main event of the week, the Clacton Carnival Street Procession is back! This year we are raising money for all our other amazing charities who support us during carnival week.

Starting at West Road Car Park, traveling along the Seafront and ending at Victoria Road, we will have a parade of colourful floats, visiting queens, fabulous majorettes and marching bands!

Egg Throwing and Beer Dig

Egg throwing First and the Beer Dig follows immedietly afterwards.

Fancy a game of catch with your friends or family… using eggs? We’ll be at the beach again for our annual Egg Throwing Competition! A great bit of fun for the family and helping us raise money for our charities that help us.

Following straight on from the Egg Throwing is the Beer Dig! Buy a Clacton Carnival spade and go dig in the sand for a winning token to exchange for a drink! Lots of fun for all ages!

(No alcohol will be supplied to any persons under the age of 18. We will have a juice drink for anyone under the age of 18)

We will be joined by Clacton Round Table for our Carnival Week Quiz night! Come join us at the Railway Club for a night of Quizzing fun! Grab a team and test your knowledge about all sorts!

Clacton Carnival is holding the Half Marathon, 10k and Fun Runs in association with Nice Work.

Our biggest Carnival week event is back once again. Get your running shoes on as we join Nice Work for our race day. Starting from the Eastcliff Greensward there is a race for everyone, with a Half Marathon, a 10k run and a Carnival Fun Run for families to take part in, even in fancy dress if they wish.

 Come and cheer on the runners as they set off!
